LAN - Local Area Network.

LARAM - Line Addressable Random Access Memory.

Laser - Light Amplification by Simulated Emission of Radiation. Lasers are sometimes used in certain types of wireless networking.

Laser Printer - A printer that uses laser technology to produce text and images.

LBNF - Low Noise Block Converter with Integrated Feed. The device on a satellite TV dish that captures the microwave signal and converts it to a lower signal across RG-6 cables to a satellite TV receiver. 

LCD - Liquid Crystal Display. Here is more information on LCD monitors.

LED - Light Emitting Diode.

Letterbox - This TV viewing term refers to the letterbox appearance a widescreen broadcast gives on a TV with a 4:3 ratio.

LHC - Large Hadron Collider. A circle tunnel that accelerates particles by magnet manipulation.

Link -  In terms of networking, it is a device used to connect two remote devices. As far as the internet usage of the word, it is the slang term for hyperlink. A link is a clickable image or text that carries the user to a specific web address or bookmark.

Link Baiting - A SEO term that refers to high quality content that other will want to link to.

Link Building - A SEO term that refers to gaining links from other web sites.

Link Popularity - A SEO term that refers to the quantity and quality of web sites that link to a specific web site.

Load - In electrical terms, the demand of an electrical process - i.e.- amp load. In computer terms it refers to transferring data from a disk (or other types of media) to a computer system.

Logic - The process of reasoning through thought. Software has built in "logic" to determine actions based upon user input.

Logic Bomb - A virus program activated by the appearance or disappearance of specific data.

Login script - A small program with preset functions that controls network users computer environment. In simpler terms, it controls what a user can and cannot do on a networked computer. Most larger companies use this to control administrative rights that a person has dependant upon their level of need.

Lowercase - This term refers to the "small" letters used on a keyboard versus using caps. Most passwords use lowercase letters.

LSI - Latent Semantic Indexing. A SEO optimization technique where relevant synonyms and phrases are used instead of the actual target key word for that web page.
